Markdown test: *does this work*?

Also: I'm not going to be using Dreamwidth until the other better options have all failed.

Some obvious improvements that can be done client side.

* A like system. Likes are great and you can't do microblogging without them.
* A nicer looking interface. Oh my god does this one need work.
* Markdown editing
* Tabs to switch input fields
* Removing extraneous stuff like "location" and "music" that no one will ever share.
